On Thursday 18 April, local residents are invited to the Tremough Campus, Penryn to make and fly a swarm of bee kites as part of Falmouth University student Imogen Bone’s Bee Happy project.
The Port of Falmouth is delighted to announce that Sail Training International (STI) has confirmed that it is the first host port to be signed up for the Iberian Tall Ships Regatta 2014. The event, involving some of the largest and most spectacular Tall Ships in the world, will take place in September 2014.
Falmouth Town Council and the Kimberley Park Association are very pleased to announce that the play project will be opening at 10:00am on the 22nd December 2012.
The current fencing on site will be removed on the afternoon of the 21st December. Following this the park will be closed off for the remainder of the day, ready for the initial opening of the play scheme on the 22nd.

University College Falmouth is to be granted full university status in a move that will further its ambition to become one of the top five arts universities in the world.
David Willetts, Minister of State for Universities and Science, today recognised Falmouth’s status as a full university following a rigorous appraisal process.
Subject to final Privy Council approval, University College Falmouth is expected to become Falmouth University by the end of 2012, and is Cornwall’s first university.
