Falmouth’s Town Team – the partnership between Falmouth BID and Falmouth Town Council – has successfully secured funding from Cornwall Council’s Town Delivery Fund and launched a business shopfront improvement scheme to support local businesses.

This initiative offers small and independent businesses in Falmouth town centre the chance to apply for grants of up to £1,000 to enhance their ‘curb appeal’ through proactive, front-facing projects. Eligible improvements include external painting, decorations, lighting, and signage to elevate the appearance of properties.

  • This scheme is exclusive to Falmouth’s town centre businesses and opened on 6 November 2024
  • Applications are now welcome from the small, independent business community and will remain open until the fund is fully allocated or until 31 January 2025
  • Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and funding is strictly for external works
