Young Frankenstein – Young Generation

After a few years without a production, in 2023 we relaunched with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Princess Pavilion which took audiences by storm and has reignited the community’s passion for high standard, locally-produced theatre. 

Our 2025 production is the Mel Brooks musical, Young Frankenstein. The grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Dr. Frederick Frankenstein wants nothing to do with his family’s notorious legacy, but when he inherits his grandfather’s castle in Transylvania, will he be doomed to repeat the same mistakes? With help and hindrance from hunchback henchman Igor, buxom assistant Inga, devilishly deranged Frau Blucher and needy fiancee Elizabeth, his experiment yields madcap success and monstrous consequences. The classic monster horror-movie spoof, Young Frankenstein is brought to life in an all-singing, all-dancing musical, reanimated for the stage with even more jokes, superb set pieces and barnstorming parody songs that stick a pitchfork into good taste!
