What is it that make us laugh?

This workshop will explore what is funny and why we need to laugh at ourselves.

In this 2 hour workshop we will use games and exercises to explore the dynamics of comedy in performance. We will try performing in front of each other to discover what an audience enjoy.

Workshops are FREE, but spaces are limited, so booking is essential. This event is expected to be very popular—if you can no longer attend after booking, please let us know so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list.

There are TWO time slots for workshops, make sure you select the one that suits you best.

10am – 12pm  Cornwall-based actors age 19+ 

& 2pm – 4pm for teenagers aged 13-19 

This workshop is co-hosted by Miracle Theatre’s Miracle Max Project & Falmouth Town Council’s Re-Source Project. The Re-Source Project is an exciting endeavour to transform Falmouth’s Kimberley Park Lodge into a community hub for media, education, and connection opening in March 2025. These projects are being part-funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Funding, managed by Cornwall Council and the Isles of Scilly’s Good Growth Programme
