Keira Rathbone in Residence: Get Typed!
For one day only, Keira Rathbone will be at Falmouth Art Gallery live typing mini commissions — capturing the very essence of YOU in a moment in time, using her unique typewriter art technique.
Throughout the day, Keira will also be engaging with visitors, sharing insights into her practice and chatting about anything else you may feel inclined to discuss. Come along and view her incredible Live-Typing technique in person as she types commissions throughout the day.
- Bookings: Book your slot in advance on Keira’s website, or show up on the day between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to watch Keira at work and join the queue.
- Commission details: Each original artwork measures approximately 10x10cm and takes around 10 minutes per figure. 1–4 people can be included within a single piece.
- Prices start at £35 for one figure, £60 for two, £85 for three.
- Sales: A range of Keira’s cards and limited-edition prints will also be available to purchase on the day (cash or card accepted).

Typewriter Try-out Station: Visitors can also get hands-on with our typewriter station — have a go at typing yourself!
Creative Family Workshop: A dedicated family workshop will run in the Council Chamber across the hall, facilitated by brilliant artist Eve Bourrat, offering fun typewriter-themed creative activities for all ages.
Tea, Coffee & Cake: Free tea, coffee, and plenty of cake will be available to all visitors throughout the day.
