The Town Mayor was surprised to be the subject of a presentation himself at the Council meeting this week. Deputy Mayor Councillor Tony Parker presented Grenville Chappel with a Council plaque to mark his efforts as Co-ordinator for the Beacon Regeneration Project.
The Town Council has agreed its spending plans for 2019/20. This includes the identification of the Skatepark development at Dracaena as its priority, and sees a contribution of £100,000 to assist the external funding of the scheme.
