- Work with local cultural organisations and connect them to young people
- Create opportunities for young people to meet and work with Artists and creative practitioners

Let us know if you are interested in joining the Collective
Event details will be released via the Youth Forum mailing list.
What does it involve?
- Attending Youth Forum sessions which will take place in the Falmouth Art Gallery at least 6 times a year on Saturdays from 11am-3pm
- Sessions will be led by local artists and social justice and heritage organisations who will put together a day of art workshops, talks, presentations and conversation
- Events will be free to attend – info & tickets will be sent to you via the mailing list once you’ve signed up
- You can expect to make new friends & connect with other young people
- Taking part, you’ll gain new skills and learn about social justice issues through discussion and making art
Who’s it for?
- No previous Art experience necessary- we’re just looking for people who’d like to learn more about Art and Social Justice issues
- You’ll need to be aged 14-18 to get involved (For under 14’s check out Splanna, our earth justice youth group for 11-14 year olds)
- If you’re interested to learn more about work experience/volunteering opportunities with us, joining one of our groups or coming to events and workshops here can be a great way to get to know us
- For young people starting to think about career pathways & higher ed, this is a great opportunity to boost your confidence & learn skills to add to your repertoire
After the first 6 sessions, we’re aiming to develop this project further; we’d love to bring in opportunities for youth led projects. These could involve anything from collaborating with artists, developing a youth panel, curating exhibitions to organising an event.
Interested to join and have a barrier that we can help with, please get in touch.
