AT THE VENUE

The Princess Pavilion has four, designated accessible parking spaces available for visitors. The main doors and garden entrance are both reachable via ramped access and all our doors allow for automated entry.

The building has flat floors throughout with no stepped access into any of our spaces and double door entry to allow for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams. Cafe chairs can easily be moved to allow for wheelchair access at the table.

The garden is accessible from all exits in the Garden Room. For more detailed information about garden accessibility, please scroll down.

We have a full sensory toilet on site which can accommodate a wheelchair. It is also adapted for neuro-diverse visitors and has baby-changing facilities.

SEATING
ARRANGEMENTS

Standing events – there will be 24 seats set out at the back of the theatre for wheelchair users and those unable to stand for long periods of time. Anyone needing to use these seats will be given priority access to the theatre. Please make yourself known to the on-site event staff.

Seated events, reserved seating – please use the seating plan available on the ticket booking site to view the accessible seating arrangements in place.

Seated events, unreserved seating – seats are chosen on the night and will include chairs on the flat floor and on our tiered seating rake. If you require a specific seat or location in the theatre e.g. end of row, please arrive before doors open and make yourself known to the security team on the door. They will allow priority access in order for you to secure your preferred seat. Seats on the flat floor can also be removed to allow space for wheelchairs, if required.

CARERS TICKETS

We currently offer 1 free carers ticket with every full-price ticket purchased. Please bring your valid carers identification to the event to gain access. The full-price ticket should be bought in advance, and we will issue the carer’s ticket on the door at the event. Valid forms of ID are:

IN THE GARDENS

Glyllgndune Gardens is accessible from The Princess Pavilion car park and also from the seafront along Cliff Road.

There is ramped access from the garden down to the seafront and the wheelchair accessible route is clearly marked en route. This is also true of the route from the seafront up to the garden.

Please be aware that the route is sloped so extra care should be taken when pushing/using wheelchairs along the path.

The path through the tunnel to get to the shell grotto is narrow but is accessible by wheelchair. Please take care when using this route in a mobility scooter.
