Feet on the Street
Feet on the Street is a ‘churches together’ charity aiming to provide extra support and care for people at night in Falmouth. At night people can get into various kinds of difficulties; under the influence of drugs or alcohol, disorientated by mental illness, lost in unfamiliar surroundings, or struggling with loneliness. We offer a welcome face, a non-judgmental listening ear and signposting to other support services where appropriate. We can also offer small items of practical help like water, sweets, vomit bags, flip flops, and we carry a basic first aid kit to assist and support people until they are deemed safe. We aim to provide hope, compassion and a calming presence to vulnerable people in need.
RNLI
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We are one crew of volunteers from the brave lads and ladies who go out to sea in all weathers to the other volunteers and fundraisers in their diverse roles.
Crafty B’s
We are just a private group of old friends (daft ole crafting buddies) who like to make a mess!!!
Squidlets
Squidlets is a friendly toddler group for children aged 0-4yrs and their parents/carers run by Falmouth Vineyard Church. We meet outside, under the veranda, at Princess Pavilion 9.45am – 11.15am every Thursday (term time only) for messy play and fun. The sessions always end with some music and singing. It is completely free and there is no need to book
Nest Cornwall CIC
Nest Cornwall is a nurturing learning community where children’s creativity and curiosity are embraced. Founded in 2019, it offers a holistic, mixed-age environment for children aged 6-12, inspired by the Montessori philosophy.
With a small group size and a 1:8 adult-to-child ratio, Nest Cornwall creates a supportive, personalized experience where children can learn from and mentor each other. This approach fosters strong connections with families, creating a village-like atmosphere where everyone grows together.
Those interested in joining are invited to fill out the registration form on the Join Us page. Nest Cornwall looks forward to welcoming new families with warmth and kindness.
Forestpathways CIC
A bustling forest school in a unique woodland nestled outside Mylor Bridge. Forestpathways CIC run forest school sessions for children of all ages and abilities. These give the opportunity for creative learning through play, an in-depth experience of the natural world and a lot of muddy fun out in nature!
The children are encouraged to work together to overcome challenges and explore boundaries, through a range of activities and games that aim to boost self-esteem, increase confidence and promote social skills..
Falmouth Stroke Club
We are a longstanding active stroke club run by volunteers and open to stroke survivors and carers in the Falmouth area. We meet twice monthly on the 1st and 3rd Friday afternoons of the month at St Mary’s Church Hall, Falmouth. Our Stroke Cafe runs at Princess Pavilion on the last Tuesday of the month from 10am to 12pm.
Our members enjoy the friendly atmosphere and activities that we provide to support members. We have speakers and also visits to nearby attractions such as local gardens which always involves a cup of tea and lot of supportive chat.
