Public Toilets

Falmouth Town Council currently operates 8 free public toilets in and around Falmouth and its beaches. This includes a new Changing Places facility at Grove Place.

In 2014 we took over the operation of Falmouth’s public toilets from Cornwall Council, to ensure they remained open to the public.

A local cleaning contractor regularly cleans and inspects all our public toilets. However, should you come across a problem with one of our toilets please report it by calling 01326 315 559 or filling out the form below.

Disabled Toilets

All our public toilets offer disabled access.

Please note, a RADAR key is required to access the disabled toilets at:

• Grove Place
• Prince of Wales Pier
• Swanpool Beach

RADAR keys can be bought online from Age UK – they cost under £2.50

Changing Places

We are delighted to have opened a Changing Places facility at Grove Place in April 2024 as part of our commitment to accessibility and inclusion.

This new facility caters to individuals with profound and multiple disabilities who require assistance when using the toilet.

Designed to be fully accessible, the facility is equipped with specialist amenities, such as a hoist and changing bench. The facility also offers ample space for up to two carers to aid an individual who may not be able to transfer to a toilet by themselves.
